The latest version of the company's software architecture for creating and viewing graphic-intensive image files on the Internet, Piranha Net provides increased functionality for enhanced viewing of high-quality Web content. Employing Piranha's unique image compression science, Piranha Net 1.2 enables e-commerce, retail and business-to-business Web sites to improve the browsing experience by dramatically reducing the time it takes to download content-rich Web pages. Piranha Net provides browser plug-in support for Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Communicator, America Online versions 5.0 and 6.0, as well as plug-ins for Adobe Photoshop. Piranha Net plug-ins are supported on Windows, Macintosh and Linux platforms. Built into the application are the required functions to allow image zooming and panning.
