Press release from the issuing company
ROCHESTER, N.Y., January 30 -- Kodak Professional today swings open the doors to the Kodak Professional Academy, an educational center offering seminars and hands-on workshops for imaging professionals determined to grow their businesses using digital imaging solutions and technologies. Course topics range from innovative imaging techniques and applications, to developing new target markets and marketing programs to reach them.
The first round of courses gets under way this week and focuses on large-format imaging. Class titles are: Miracle Grow Your Business (with Large-Format Imaging), Creating the Big Picture, and How to Sell Large Format. They include hands-on instruction with equipment used in large-format imaging, including personal computers, large-format printers and laminators.
These courses will be repeated in the coming months. Also in the coming months, courses will be offered covering digital photographic printing, camera operation, and other topics related to digital image capture.
"The Kodak Professional Academy is one more way we help our customers develop their creativity and ideas around innovative new digital imaging applications that will help move their businesses forward," said Susan Seeler, Senior Instructor, Kodak Professional. "The potential is tremendous for growth through large-format and other digital imaging technologies. Kodak has opened the Kodak Professional Academy to share what we know."
Courses on all topics will be conducted throughout the year at Kodak's training facilities in Rochester, N.Y. Sessions run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with many courses available on consecutive days so participants can take more than one during their stay. Class size is limited to allow for a more personal learning experience.
