Standard Register Explains Reorganization to It’s Customers

(DAYTON, OHIO), January 26, 2001...  Standard Register posted the following letter on their web site in an effort to help customers understand their reorganization plans. To Our Valued Customers:. Over the last six months, we've worked very hard examining every facet of our business, including products and services as well as the market segments and customers Standard Register serves. We've designed a four-phase plan that will, in effect, reinvent our company over the coming years. This reinvention begins with an intensive, company-wide restructuring and reorganization that will align our company around four focused businesses. Each Strategic Business Unit will have its own leadership and accountability for performance and customer satisfaction. We intend to serve our customers throughout this restructuring and reorganization without disruption. Upon completion of these actions, we intend to be more focused than ever on providing world-class products and services.
