Insci-Statements.com Changes Name Back to Insci

Press release from the issuing company

SKOKIE, IL and WESTBOROUGH, MA (January 30, 2001) insci-statements.com, Corp. (Nasdaq: INSI), a provider of scalable digital document repository solutions that provide high-volume document capture, warehousing and delivery functions, announced today that, subject to shareholder approval, it will change its legal name back to INSCI Corp. The Company will immediately begin doing business as INSCI pending shareholders approving the change of its legal name at the Company’s annual meeting of shareholders for fiscal year 2001 ending March 31, 2001, to be held later this year. The Company’s stock symbol will remain the same. According to the announcement by INSCI President and CEO Lori R. Frank, the name is being changed because the Company’s core competencies, products and strategic focus encompass a far greater range of markets and applications than just electronic statement presentment. "We market digital document repository solutions and services to customers operating in on-site enterprise environments and to enable companies to establish their own applications service provider (ASP) operations," Frank said. "Since the solutions we sell, supported by our integration, implementation, maintenance and customer support services, are used to handle a broad and diverse range of document management applications in a number of different markets, we feel strongly that our name should not imply a limited scope of capabilities or opportunities."
