Press release from the issuing company

ATLANTA, [Jan. 29, 2001] --- Lanier Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: LR) today announced today it has signed a three-year, $60 million agreement with Kinko's, one of the world's largest providers of visual communications services, document creation and copying. The contract covers digital black-and-white copier/printers, supplies and a range of services. "Lanier almost knows our business better than we do," said Ross Waddell, Kinko's Vice President of Purchasing. "They understand the level of service we provide, the variety of our total offering, and the kind of quality our customers expect. And they have the high-end document solutions, national support, and integration services we need to uphold our commitment to customers. "Plus, Lanier is one of the easiest suppliers to work with. Throughout our four-year relationship, they have set a new standard for collaboration through simple electronic billing, seamless installation of equipment, responsive service and competitive pricing. Which is why we've signed this substantial agreement." Lanier will install high-speed digital document systems in all Kinko's U.S. locations.
