January 30, 2001 - Chicago, IL – Que-Net MediaTM, a member of the Quebecor World Group, opened its Technology Solutions Center in New York City on January 15. The new center is located at 461 Fifth Avenue. “This exciting new facility is the first of four Technology Solutions Centers to come on line in 2001,” said Jack Schuh, President and Chief Operating Officer of Que-New MediaTM. “Quebecor World is making a major investment in technology and facilities in which clients can experience first-hand our complete pre-media offering. This center will offer on-site training to both clients and staff in the latest technology and systems in content management and automated publishing tools.” The New York City location represents a move to a larger facility of 10,000 square feet featuring a 1,200 square foot digital photography studio. “We are positioned to be the market leader in pre-media services for the New York metropolitan area with this major expansion of our current facility into a Technology Solutions Center,” said Fred Raimondo, General Manager, Que-Net MediaTM New York. The New York staff will increase to forty. “We have been historically focused on publication-based services. Our expanded offering which now includes digital photography, ad scanning, digital ad conversion, film scanning, ad management and transmission now allows us to extend our services to the catalog, retail and direct market,” Raimondo added.
