Crawford Technologies Introduces TurboFlow to Accelerate and Streamline Complex Printstream Manipulation

Press release from the issuing company

Toronto, ON – Crawford Technologies, provider of innovative document solutions that streamline, improve and manage customer communications, announces the availability of TurboFlow, a solution that makes the delivery of customer communications by large organizations easier and more cost-effective. It addresses many of the challenges that organizations are experiencing due to the COVID-19 pandemic by providing a fast and easy way for mailers to address the growing number of customers moving from traditional mail to digital delivery of their repetitive mail.

Mailers need to split large mailstreams into separate streams for each delivery channel very quickly so that they do not miss stringent deadlines. In order to get important documents into customers’ hands even through postal delays, mailers want the ability to digitally transmit the documents to print centers closer to the customers. TurboFlow makes it possible to split large mailings into smaller subsets so they can be distributed to print centers closer to recipients. Additionally, with more customers opting for digital delivery channels, it is becoming increasingly difficult for many mailers to achieve the minimum densities needed to get maximum discounts. TurboFlow allows multiple mailings to be digitally combined to cost-effectively take advantage of USPS mailing discounts.

TurboFlow delivers increased performance and flexibility to accelerate high-volume complex processing for all print formats, including PDF. The solution incorporates advanced indexing capabilities to split, re-sequence and merge large print files in multiple files, in any order, in one pass. With fast processing speeds, communication providers can now minimize resource requirements and maximize productivity to easily achieve aggressive delivery timeframes for customer communications.

TurboFlow has proven successful at a recent installation at a print service provider that resulted in the processing of files up to 10 times faster than competitive offerings for workflows that required complex sorting and document resequencing to optimize postal savings. The client reports it has not only increased processing capacity, but also gained new competitive capabilities through the enhanced flexibility and productivity of TurboFlow.

“Every organization is in need of solutions that optimize productivity, increase processing capacity and reduce costs,” said Ernie Crawford, president and CEO of Crawford Technologies. “We created TurboFlow to support organizations working to reduce costs and to ensure they remain competitive and profitable.”

To introduce the key features and business benefits of TurboFlow, Crawford Technologies will be holding a webinar for customers and partners on October 13. Register at this link.
