Alexandria, Va. – Idealliance Southeast Asia partnered with the Japan Print Academy (JPA) in February to host a three-day G7® certification training in Tokyo, Japan.
Through new increased hands-on training, participants gained valuable first-hand experience through collaboration with the global G7 Expert Trainer and discussions with their peers and partners from the industry. The training focused on:
- G7 theory and implementation
- Extensive, live, practical on-press demonstrations, including G7 calibration, profiling, and verification
- Process control and workflow management through G7 to best support real-world print applications
Attendees from across the supply chain included global brands and print buyers, OEMs, and premedia and production technicians. They are now globally recognized G7 Experts who can take their knowledge and immediately implement it into their production environments—driving waste reduction, process control, up-time, and increased profitability.
"Training at the distinguished Japan Print Academy in Tokyo demonstrates the reach and value of G7 in a global print supply chain. The event also demonstrates brand managers and print buyers recognize the value and simplicity of a universal print condition, the hallmark of G7. Brands and print buyers continue to challenge us to achieve consistent and accurate color quickly across different print technologies, substrates, and multiple print service providers. G7 meets that challenge." said Jeff Collins, Vice President of Business Development and Standards at Idealliance.
G7® is the most sought-after certification in the world and is the driving force for achieving visual similarity across all print processes. Idealliance is the largest certifying body in the world for process control and color management. G7 aligns Print Anywhere™.
