DTGMerch Releases New DTG Printing Online Course

Press release from the issuing company

DTGMerch released a new Online Course: DTG Printing Fundamentals.

The course consists of 3:45 hours of video content that covers all areas of Direct to Garment printing. First, we talk in-depth about the three main processes: pretreatment, printing, and curing, how you can deal, and fix problems during those stages. We recommend tests you should perform to optimize your production workflow and show how to perform quality control.

Second, we have a look at the design part. We are not going to turn our students into designers, but it is crucial to be able to identify image problems at an early stage. There is no way a bad design can ever look good when it is printed.

Last but not least, we talk about the business side of DTG printing: How to optimize the production, how to automate the workflow, and who the potential customers are.

In addition to the videos, we included lots of checklists and templates that can help our students in their daily business.

“We tried to put together the DTG printing training we wish we had when we started our careers in this business. Direct to Garment printing is a rather new technology, we noticed that it can be difficult to collect the bits and pieces of knowledge scattered all over the place. We aimed to collect all the current know-how and provide it in an easily accessible form.”

We added two bonus E-Books. The first one is “10 steps to get your production on track”, which rearranges the content of the course into 10 easy to follow steps you can take to optimize your production. The second E-Book “5 things to ask before buying a DTG printer” serves as a guideline for everyone who thinks to invest in the direct to garment printing technology.
