Donnelley’s Chairman, CEO Adds President to His Title, Replaces Ward

CHICAGO, RR Donnelley & Sons Company (NYSE: DNY) today announced that William L. Davis, chairman and chief executive officer, has been named president, additionally assuming the responsibilities of Jonathan P. Ward, who resigned to become president and chief executive officer of ServiceMaster. This transition is effective immediately. "Jon's leadership has helped RR Donnelley become a leading communications services company that focuses on providing value to its employees, customers and shareholders," Davis said. "Jon has made many contributions to this company. He leaves behind a talented sales and operations team, with highly skilled and experienced executives. We wish him the best." Davis, 57, has served as chairman and chief executive officer since joining the company in March 1997. Ward, 46, joined RR Donnelley in 1977. He held several positions of increasing responsibility in sales and operations before assuming the presidency in 1997.
