Printable Adds Gary Dolgins to Management Team

SAN DIEGO, Calif., - PrintableSM today announced the addition of print-industry veteran Gary Dolgins as vice president, business development. His appointment, coming on the heels of the recent additions of noted graphic arts technology experts Brad Giles and Chuck Gehman, rounds out Printable's industry-leading management team. Dolgins will lead in the development of key strategic partnerships and will build Printable's Virtual Suppliers NetworkSM. The Virtual Suppliers Network is the next in a series of advanced digital workflow/e-business services Printable provides to the printing and graphic arts marketplaces. Dolgins comes to Printable from Portalis Inc., an innovator of workflow for digital printing presses, where he served as president of its U.S. subsidiary. According to Stuart Clifton, president and chief executive officer of Printable, "Gary is considered a leader in the industry with unparalleled digital workflow experience. His expertise will support Printable's charter to provide Web-enabled production tools that improve a printer's workflow efficiency and productivity." In his role as vice president, business development, Dolgins is now responsible for the development and management of the Printable Virtual Suppliers Network, a centralized online resource for printers to connect with suppliers for the products, services and e-business capabilities they need. The Virtual Suppliers Network will be integrated into the company's Printer's DashboardSM, the control panel to the printer's e-business activities and services. "The Virtual Suppliers Network will increase a printer's buying power, improve the efficiency of the buying process and provide printers with access to services and capabilities they can add to their service offering, improving their value to their customers," stated Dolgins.
