Immersant Acquires Neustrategies Consulting Team

BOSTON, Immersant, Inc., a leading Internet globalization services firm for complex businesses, announced today the acquisition of the neustrategies strategic e-commerce and high technology consulting group and its intellectual property from Strategy Analytics of Wellesley, MA for an undisclosed amount. The neustrategies group will fill an important strategic role within Immersant, as it will soon enable companies to apply appropriate ROI metrics across a global network that is also sensitive to varying vertical markets. This new service, dubbed gMetricsSM, is expected to be the first benchmarking tool of its kind in g-commerce. As part of today's acquisition, Harvey Cohen, a 25-year veteran of IT industry consulting and president of Strategy Analytics, has been named Immersant's, vice president, worldwide strategy consulting. Mr. Cohen's experience involves engagements with global 2000 companies including AT&T, IBM, Motorola, Mellon Bank, Borden, Hyundai, Fujitsu, Siemens, Compaq, Unisys, France Telecom, BellSouth, Southwestern Bell, Xerox, Kodak, Ericsson, and Panasonic. He has an S.B. degree in Metallurgy and Materials Science from MIT, an M.S. in Materials Science from Ohio State University, and an S.M. from The Sloan School of Management at MIT. He will report directly to Carl Glaeser, CEO of Immersant.
