EFI’s Fiery X3 Controller Connects the Konica 7075 Printer/Copier

(NASDAQ: EFII), the world leader in enabling networked printing solutions, announced today the availability of its Fiery X3 embedded controller for Konica’s 7075 black-and-white printer/copier. One of the first Linux-based controllers to hit the market, the Fiery X3 for Konica’s 7075 brings greater productivity to corporate workgroups, print-for-pay environments, and central reprographics departments. The controller lists for $5995.00 (copier interface kit not included) and is available through Konica dealers in North America. The Fiery X3 enhances the Konica 7075 by ensuring fast and seamless network connectivity, and enhanced workflow through several simple “click and print” job management utilities. “EFI’s Fiery X3 is the industry-leading platform for high-speed processing of black-and-white documents,” said Jim Kano, Director of Sales for EFI. “It has the power to drive the 7075 at its full-rated speed of 75 pages per minute (ppm).
