Business Continuity Confirmed for Tecnau Offices Based in North of Italy (update March 24, 2020)

Press release from the issuing company

Billerica, Mass. - Tecnau, a leading supplier of feeding and finishing equipment for production digital print and headquartered in Ivrea, Torino, Italy, announces that it will continue to operate, in accordance with Italian law enacted in response to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. The new restrictive measures undertaken by the Italian government on March 22, 2020 required our business processes to adapt further in order to continue to safeguard the health of all Tecnau employees, customers, partners and stakeholders in accordance with national laws and recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO).

The Italian government has declared that printing is a strategic industry. As Tecnau is a key supplier in this industry, operations in Tecnau’s Italian offices will continue (at a reduced rate) to ensure timely product and spare part supply to our customers and partners.

Workforce in the plant has been reduced with an increased number of employees working remotely from homes. Support requirements outside the country will be supported when and where necessary through our worldwide distribution network, according to local regulations.

The new restrictive measures will remain in force until April 03, 2020.

Tecnau companies and operations in United States and Sweden are also continuing to operate in accordance with local regulations, ensuring normal product and service supply.
