Monthly Commercial Printing Shipments

The monthly US commercial printing shipments data series is based on the manufacturing shipments data for NAICS 323 as released by the US Department of Commerce. Data are presented in current dollars and also in inflation-adjusted format using the Consumer Price Index as published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Canada data are from Statistics Canada in current and inflation-adjusted Canada dollars. Additional calculations for Canada include current and inflation-adjusted data in US dollars. These data are provided to assist WhatTheyThink members in their understanding, forecasting, and planning related to the North American commercial printing markets.
