The fourth annual WhatTheyThink Environmental Innovation Awards, in partnership with Unisource and the Unisource Respect Printers' Program, is offered to any graphic communications services provider located in North America, regardless of size and printing process. We believe that innovative ideas are not constrained by company size or location.

The awards recognize companies that are making real and concrete contributions to innovation, implementation, and communication of environmental solutions. The object is to provoke, encourage, and celebrate creative thinking and innovative solutions.

Awards

We want to recognize the commitment and investment of time and energy that it takes for companies to put creative sustainability initiatives in place. Winners of the Fourth Annual Environmental Innovation Awards will be announced April 23, 2012.

Winners will be flown to Atlanta, where they will be presented their awards by executives from WhatTheyThink and Unisource. Not only will each recipient be spotlighted on all of WhatTheyThink's online properties, each will be keynoted in a one-on-one video they can share with the press and their customer base as they choose. Winners also receive 1 year site-wide corporate access to WhatTheyThink.com

Five awards will be presented to leading companies who have developed environmental solutions within the design, production, and delivery value chain for printed graphic communications. The categories are:

  Environmental Sustainability and Your Community

This award will recognize a company that is involved in an environmentally progressive community program such as initiatives for charitable organizations, internal programs such as alternative transportation for staff, and other "outreach" that supports both the environment and the community.
