The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) has certified Navitor Inc.’s Alto, Goergia, facility, making this the second of Navitor’s facilities to receive SGP certification. (The company’s North Mankato, Minn., facility was certified last spring.) “We are so very proud of all of our employees who have helped us to get SGP Certified and still encourage each other on ways to keep improving our efforts,” said Tara Perdue, Safety & Compliance Coordinator, Navitor Southeast, in a press release. Navitor is a subsidiary of the Taylor Corporation and is one of North America’s largest trade-only wholesale printers, offering an extensive assortment of personalized printing and custom business identity products at wholesale prices via a broad network of print resellers. Speaking of the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership, they recently celebrated several milestones, including a 95% recertification rate, the gaining of its 25th patron, and the certification of its 50th facility. The SGP will also be conducting a free Webinar, “Looking at your supply chain – How to integrate sustainable partners and promote your sustainability commitment to your customer,” on June 13 as part of the organization’s SGP Insight Series.
