Frank comments about shortages of printed books. At the end of 2018, bookstores— and even Amazon—ran out of inventory for certain bestsellers. Ebooks have not truly replaced printed books and we are still trying to find the equilibrium between ebooks, on-demand books, and long-run printed books.

Frank - thanks for great comments. According to the library hunter, book store sales have increased 35 percent in the last decade. Sales of printed, physical books have grown since 2013. E-book sales are stagnant but found their place. They closed their report with "reading isn't dying, it's thriving! Happy New Year!
