By workflow; I mean the business process that your customers are working on that results in printed materials. E.g. the process / workflow that results in a product label order to a print is the making and selling of the product.
The workflow / business process of a customer that throws off print orders for marketing materials is going to a tradeshow (for example).
The more you understand the process the customer is going through (what happens before and after) they reach out to you for printed materials, the more you can offer up solutions to other challenges in the workflow.
