Optional soundtrack to this post. The blog quite rightly shies away from issues pertaining to style, as your blogger has, essentially, none. Your blogger should wear sunglasses, if only for retinal protection, but a) hates looking like an insect, and b) has a hard time juggling prescription glasses and sunglasses or clip-ons without sitting on and thus breaking one or the other, incurring much expense. Oh, to be Corey Hart! For those with a heightened fashion sense (I guess; how would I know?) and an interest in sustainability, there are now “Panda Sunglasses.” (Part of me wants to ask, “Does that mean will they’ll make it really difficult to reproduce?” but I shan’t.) But seriously, folks, Panda sunglasses are composed of eco-friendly bamboo frames and recycled polycarbonate lenses. One other good thing:
To top it off, this conscious company gives back. "...with each purchase, Panda provides the gift of vision – a free eye exam and eyewear to a person in need through the Tribal Outreach Medical Assistance Foundation (TOMA).”
And they can be yours for $120 a pair. Hmm...could I just get a Panda sunmonocle for $60?
