These parallel the drop in ad pages, but it is still quite a shocker when you just look at it in the cold light of the morning dew. We are living through times of monumental change and the redeployment of many resources. Money is being rerouted, readers and reading platforms are being redirected and humans are retraining for the next adventure in information distribution.

I know these are tough times for many, but I believe that we will get through this and to the other side, wherever that may be. Some of us will still be putting ink on paper and happily continuing our current profitable careers. Others will move on, get retrained and go with the digital flow. And many, will do both. News like the article is from BusinessWeek important for us to read and grapple with so we aren't surprised when we are confronted with the inevitable changes before us.
