We've forgotten that the primary purpose of packaging is protection. I've received quite a few Amazon packages in these paper mailers. Unfortunately, the contents were folding carton boxes, which didn't stand up to the pressure. The contents were crushed. Fortunately, the purchased items weren't breakable, so they were usable. However as dispensers, the boxes were useless.
