Great piece Jennifer (as always). Visibility, Tracking and Reporting tools like SOLitrack form Solimar Systems help to enable this new way of life - the Production Director/Manager now has access to what's happening on the shop floor from the comfort of his/her home office or any other location for that matter via a web enabled client.
The print industry has adapted amazingly over the last 2 years and many lessons have been learnt - a continuation of smart logical thinking is required to create a new working environment that works for all.
